This page details how to create a new page using several different methods. This is the preferred method of creating a new page.
  • Edit an existing page by clicking on the edit button.
  • Create a link to your new page e.g. [NewPageName]
  • Save your edit by clicking the save button.
  • Click the link to your new page.
    • Note: The text should be red with a broken underline to indicate the page does not exist yet. If the text is blue with a solid underline, there is a page that already exists with that name.
    • If a page already exists choose a new name.
  • In the new page click the "Create it" link or click the Edit button.
  • Edit the page and save.
  • The new page has been created.
It's also a good idea to search for pages that are related to the new page topic. Then add additional links to your new page. The users on the site will be able to find the new page a lot easier.

Edit URL#

This method will not create a link to it. It can only be found by searching or viewing the "Unused pages". It's better to create a link and then edit it, or create links on related topics when finished.
  • Highlight the page name in the address of your browser.
  • Type the name of the new page using CamelCase and press Enter.
  • In the new page that appears click the "Create it" link or click the Edit button.
  • Edit the page and save.
  • The new page has been created.
